The Yucatan Peninsula is home to most of Mexicos household tourist destinations such as Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Isla Mujeres.

The Mayans as a people are studied in depth due to their knowledge, cuisine and architechture. The Mayaverse is a gateway to Mexican tourism that allows you to experience the life of Mayans by becoming one and building your settlement and trading with others, using NFTs to back all assets.

In addition, The Mayaverse will be tied to the real world as well so that there are opportunities to utilise NFT utility and mixed reality experiences in Mexico and in the Metaverse world as well.

This project is developed with the support of Mexican Tourism bodies in the region and the Museum Mundo Maya which will be a focal point in the virtual space as well as a start and end point of real world trails that utilise the new Maya Train that launches in December 2023.
